Chemo and Radiation

The neurosurgeon has talked about both chemo and radiation therapies, but says that the specialists in that will decide when and how much, but it won't be before her wound has healed.

She says she doesn't want chemo at all, that she saw what it has done to others.  But, he told her, it's taken orally now, anywhere - doesn't have to be in the hospital, and the side effects are much better than they used to be.  Still, she says she doesn't want it, and that when she leaves the James she's never coming back.

She insists that if she needs therapies of any sort, she's going to have to get them near home, because she's not going to kill her husband with traveling back and forth.  Period.
