A Daily Bliss

I HAD a daily bliss
I half indifferent viewed,
Till sudden I perceived it stir,—
It grew as I pursued,

Till when, around a crag,
It wasted from my sight,
Enlarged beyond my utmost scope,
I learned its sweetness right.

Emily Dickinson (1830–86). Complete Poems. 1924.

Following my bliss, I started this blog to share the thoughts of my busy brain with far-away friends and family.

I hope to develop this rostrum into a place for all sorts of discussions and essays on various topics for my multi-faceted life: love (yes, I have that blessing of all blessings, A Love now), Information Services work, fibromyalgia, invisible chronic illness in general, health, puppies, family, friends, hobbies, crafts, ideals, ideas and literature.

Who knows, blogging may actually provide me with some organized thinking, and Rod My Love has already learned how much I need that.
